| 3-Ring Crescent is my first foray into intentional color. I
was eager to break away from monochromatic materials and dive into more
exotic materials, like these brightly colored butyl rubber pieces. I
limited my pallet and went for a exuberant burst of brilliant shards
emerging from a 2-cell pentagram prism. |
The ends are gathered with a machined aluminum cylinder. This end piece
allows me to hold the overall shape into a 5-sided twisted crescent shape. |
