Ron Meyers is one
of the best interior designers in the entire region. We were/I am honored to
be associated with a such a creative force.
In Ron's design plan, Tryst restaurant
mixed many textures and styles in a Post-Modern mix that worked extremely
well.
Our contribution to the project was to
create 72 separate oil paintings depicting scenes and objects from
neo-classical paintings.
These paintings were done on regular 3/4"
fir plywood with semi-transparent oil washes so that in many of the pieces,
the grain of the plywood can be seen peeking through the objects.
